i'm currently in the process of abandoning Ubuntu for a rolling release distro, for... reasons. i have many interesting findings to report on this, but they won't fit in these 500 characters.

is there a federated non-micro blogging platform anyone can recommend? would friendica be able to be pressed into such service, as i have my eyes on an instance of that?

@lynxcat Why not using a mastodon instance with more chars?

I am on one with a limitation of 10k chars. But it's not an instance for meat eaters.
