It puts the keyboard and display at a good angle, and you can close it up when you're not using it - we don't like bare PCBs gathering dust!

@LockFarm looks brilliant ... I do keep getting the urge to play with 8 bit (I grew up with them) but then get distracted by something modern with 64 bits. Sigh!
@gruntfutuk it's good to work on a system where you can understand every part of it - a welcome distraction from shovelling petabytes of data around in the cloud!
@LockFarm hadn't thought of it that way ... very good point. I was following the build of a "clone" of a Commodore 64 a while back, the THEC64, by the 8-bit guy. Very very tempting, Will be thinking about this over the weekend now!
