"Moon Landing Day"?
Pfft. We've all been living on the Moon since 1898. The entire human race was drugged in our sleep one night and transferred to the Moon, so the Snail People could have the Earth to themselves. The "Moon" we see in the sky at night is actually Earth with a paint-job.
A healthier, happier Earth, with normal, natural populations of White Rhino and Bengal Tigers, and friends.
You know, the stream of consciousness you triggered has me realizing what a paradise Earth would be if humans were not on it.
So Hollywood paid Stanley Kubrik to film a team of spacemen landing on earth and make it look like they landed on the moon????
