This #tree will not be denied! At the confluence of a #stream and #river that I hiked along for 8 miles to a summit this spring, the #roots of this tree are wrapped around #lichen-covered #rocks, withstanding the force and erosion from the energetic flow of the #water— rapids and #waterfalls. @whybird I love it! I’m also very happy (and flattered!) that the image I posted so inspired you to create that poem. Mother Nature, of course gets full credit here for providing such an inspirational scene. I work hard at attempting to capture some of the beauty that I see in the wilderness.
