Phoenix hits 110 degrees for the 19th day in a row, beating previous record

The forecast high of 116 degrees in Phoenix on Tuesday would also break the record high for the date set in 1989, according to the National Weather Service.

@w7voa Unchecked growth at a sea level altitude in the desert southwest, I mean who could've seen this coming
@w7voa this has long term consequences for the entire Southwest.
There is absolutely no way our way of life is sustainable under such conditions.
More energy will be required to support air conditioning, ( which adds more hot air to the environment). More water will be needed because evaporation rates will increase.
More bad air because of smoke pollution from wildfire( which will end when all the trees are dead)
Where will the energy come from?
Where will the water come from?
