So I’m getting fired from Roam Research (which is fine) while being owed $70K in compensation (not fine). Some of it goes as far back as 2021!
I guess rumors are true, don’t work there, don’t trust them to keep their word, or take 100% payment up front.
Re: legal actions etc.
Technically I got everything I’m owed due to contract, so no shot here. Extra $70K were only promised in email.
And now CEO says “I’m delusional to think it was ever in the picture”, in answer to the literal picture of an email _from him_.
@nikitonsky I've had that same sense of relief when escaping a stressful situation. You feel a palpable weight lifted, and suddenly, possibilities present themselves.
It's a shame we never got to work together. I've been a fan of your no-nonsense approach to building awesome shit for a long time.
