@mimsical I'm a former reporter but am happy to boost you. Will be interesting to see who follows/ engages.   #journalism #media #reporter #localnews #commodon
@mimsical I'm not a journalist if any sort but I have to say "toot" makes at least as much sense as "tweet." And the association with flatulence I think gives the bonus "don't take this to seriously, it's an opinion."
@wdhughes @mimsical I am also not a journalist but you can also just say “post”
@mimsical sounds like you’re gonna steal my janky car. Go ahead!
@mimsical It's fine to just say "Post". "Toot" is pretty much deprecated.
@mimsical I'm a professor of journalism, and will know if you think that counts if you give this a boost
@mimsical I’m a motion designer animating the news, does that count?
@mimsical You don't have to say it. I just spent 12 years not saying "tweet". Not saying toot should be a snap. Out in the real world, we just call posts posts.
@mimsical re: the lingo — join me in agreeing to just say “post” instead? I can’t abide by the “toot” stuff, too idiotic-sounding in English, sorry
@mimsical agreed on the lingo. lol.
