Today has been a raging bin fire for #Labour, particularly Scottish Labour, after Anas Sarwar's remarks and Keir Starmer's stance.

On Twitter, 'Sir Kid Starver' is trending. People are angry about child poverty.

Several Scottish Labour figures have spoken out making it clear they're standing by their convictions: the two-child benefits cap & #RapeClause is a harmful, disgraceful policy they want scrapped. Hoping their leaders U-turn again.

@GlasWolf Ha! It was Tom Arthur going 'nuclear' (- Scottish Sun headline) in his response to *that* awful speech by Michelle Ballantyne in 2018 (🔗👇) that immediately came to my mind today after re-watching Kezia Dugdale's speech opposing the policy in 2017.

Several of the most passionate, principled, powerful speeches in Holyrood over the last decade have been in opposition to and scathing critique of the two child benefits cap and rape clause. Rightly so 👏 🔥
