The Sign-in with Mastodon feature uses Mastodon specific APIs and is a temporary measure until we get OIDC in place and other platforms support it!

Niklas Rosenqvist@pixelfed @dansup I'm still a bit new to this federation concept, would the recommendation be to use your Mastodon account for both PixelFed and Mastodon, or keep two separate accounts? Are the posts presented correctly across both services? Are only posts with images shown on PixelFed? Will the toot text become the image caption? Is there a FAQ that answers this for me? 😁
