@arstechnica I drive a Leaf SV+ and live in an EV positive area. I've spoken with many Lightning & Mach-E owners. In almost every case, they didn't actually have a clue what they were buying into and the dealers didn't really know what they were selling them. No Ford dealer here has an L3 charger on-site. Ford sucks.
@damoncjones so dealers are going to be dealers…? I’d like to say I’m surprised a dealer wouldn’t know what they were selling, but I’m not. Now for a buyer to drop north of $50,000 on something they didn’t know what it was… well, that’s just plain dumb.
@thejasonthoms true. The I've spoken with Tesla dealers that offered me a part-time job selling because I knew more about EV cars than most of their sales people. Fuck Elon, I'd never work for them, but it's stunning that at this stage, most of these people have no idea how most of this shit works.
