Pet peeve: I don’t like when media outlets do this. CNBC *KNOWINGLY* messaged a defunct email address at Twitter that they KNOW is programmed to respond with this emoji (and has been for 8 months).

Just email Musk directly for comment. We all have his contact info. It’s such a farce to email a dead email acct you KNOW will return this emoji then act like it’s some sacrilege and write it up in this way.

@taylorlorenz anyone who responds to any email with a poop emoji is behaving like a spoiled child.

Civilised adults say things like "this email address is not in use please contact ...".

I support and applaud anyone who points this imbicilic behavior out everytime and i strongly encourage any remaining advertisers to rethink whether this is a company that represents their values cos it sure does not represent mine.

@Twiglet no one is responding with a poop emoji, it’s a bot. The email address is defunct and it only helps Elon to email a bot account rather than actually request comment. It’s frankly irresponsible journalism and lazy reporting

@taylorlorenz I know what it is. I am not stupid.

Someone at twitter has decided to let it send poop emojis. There is no law of nature forcing them to do that. It's a choice. A shitty disrespectful and arrogant choice that deserves to be called out until someone grows up or goes out of business.

The behaviour we ignore is the behaviour we accept.
