Hey @ciphertxt I was just listening to your podcast episode 341 where you were talking about deprioritization of on-prem SharePoint. You may find it interesting that in June CU for SharePoint 2019 #microsoft introduced a bug (https://blog.stefan-gossner.com/2023/06/23/trending-issue-sp2019-creating-or-updating-list-items-in-modern-experience-not-possible-after-june-2023-cu/) that breaks forms for creating/updating list items in modern UX if such list has hyperlink or image columns.

To me it looks like a pretty serious problem. There is a workaround - switch to classic UX or use a quick edit, but it is still a major hassle with user training and simply explaining to people that we just cannot fix it.

Did MS produced a hotfix for this right away? No. Maybe they added a fix to next CU? Again, no. As of now we just have a comment in a blog post that says it is planned to be fixed in August CU. I bet a bug like this in SPO would be fixed in a week, or probably would be found in QA.

Even harder is that one has to follow Steffan’s blog to learn this stuf.
