Richie Enameller@rabbijill Maybe a house sparrow, they’re actually in the weaver family of birds and are notorious for building nests in vents.

@rabbijill no problem! We pulled a 6’ long nest out of a dryer vent once. Although I hate to destroy nests, this was a fire hazard! Also, house sparrows are very common in NA, a species introduced from Europe (I think?)
@kroltanz we did have a house sparrow build a nest in a dryer vent in our old house and it was a fire hazard too!
