Bert Latamore@anathematrix @Strandjunker That is a very interesting question. I profoundly hope Pence's worry was unfounded and the agents were doing their jobs to get him to safety. But the fact that they disappeared is suspicious, and given that the MAGAs were literally shouting for his head. I do not blame him for his decision. It was his finest hour.
