Friend of mine took me to see where the newly opened "Trans Bhutan Trail" begins, near the cliff hanging temple of Juneydrak.
So I photographed fern leaves. He's very patient with me this particular friend.

Got a glimpse of a Himalayan Pikas today and it was marvellous!
Shellie said they look cute in the wild but if they came inside the house she might scream. I told her they nibble grass, not toes!

I love the opportunity that flora presents for photography at the macro level.
Was joking with a friend of mine that his talent in landscape composition would be well served on flora, and with a far more modest travel budget.
