The world has not been the same since The Collapse. Civilization has divided up into different colonies, that all serve different purposes with the goal to never reach that level of destruction ever again. This story follows the journey of Lacey who lives in a Blue society. Outsiders are people who have rejected living in any of the societies. Lacey doesn't understand them, but as time goes by, she starts to learn that things aren't always as they seem.
