Hi all,
I'm new to #infosec and don't really have any colleagues/contacts in the industry.

I've been a software engineer for a long time and am about to embark on my final capstone project for my Master in Cybersecurity.

I'm sending this toot to try and find out where people turn for their news and ideas for research areas?

Let's start here on Mastodon by getting your timeline moving. Did you know you can follow hashtags here? Yep, just the same as you do with accounts. Then start following people that produce the content for those hashtags that interests you and before you know it -- your timeline will come to life. Then you can start bookmarking stuff and building a nice bookmark list of things to read.
