@werty This inspired me to watch the same (but also had watched a really good deconstruction of the use of color for the different locations) and the technology seems ancient.

The film converted to 4k and modern digital color has an odd false look.

@vanderwal where’d you watch? We streamed on Paramount+. Maybe the upleveling isn’t as apparent on a computer screen where we viewed it

@werty I picked it up a while back in Apple’s movie store (likely when it hit a $5 sale) and it was then turned into the 4k version. Also watched on tv with HDR.

I looked at the one on Paramount+ and it wasn’t as clear nor vibrant.
