My view on masking, in case it isn't clear:

1. Mask indoors in public.
2. Mask outdoors if there's a large crowd, no wind, you're encountering many different people, community rates are high, etc.
3. If you see a mask, wear a mask. No need to ask why they are masking.

4. Every effort helps to make spaces safer for everyone.
5. All or nothing will mean nothing for all as people give up. Give yourself some grace to make reasonable risk assessments for yourself and your family.
6. Parents face additional challenges and deserve empathy.

7. Masking in healthcare settings should be non- negotiable. It's absurd that this has been dropped.
8. Reliance on people choosing to mask is not going to work (just look around). We need improved indoor air quality.
9. If you see another rare fellow masker, give 'em a nod.

10. High quality masks (N95s) are not inexpensive. Leaders should be making these available.
11. We need to have a culture of normalized masking, for example when we're sick, during peak respiratory virus season, on crowded public transit, etc., as many countries have.

12. You know the feeling when you see someone else masking in a store and you feel less alone? You're that person for someone else.

@TRyanGregory bless and thanks for that reminder. I'm always so glad to see others masking, and give a nod with "smile eyes" 😄
