P: The government published a press release yesterday, in which it sweared to be committed to human rights and to respecting human dignity and today you underlined the same in press conference. What does it speak of the government when these kind of obvious things have to be specifically mentioned and underlined in a western justice state?

Orpo: I would say it speaks of Finland, of this western justice state, that, that this society doesn’t condone racism, -

discrimination for skin colour, ethnicity or sexual orientation or discrimination for anything. No racism at all and not discrimination. And this tells that in Finland, we have a sincere worry and i think that the government had to take a clear stance in the matter with all the four government parties negotiated about this and we wanted to say to inform finnish people and why not outside our borders too that Finland has not changed, and that this government goes by these principles.-

Orpo continues still: we wanted to gather all of them in the same statement.

P: But the question was about how it made you feel that you had to underline this again after the government program that has the same things written?

Orpo: Of courses it didn’t feel good, but since the situation demanded it I estimated that we do this and it was important that we acted fast with day long negotiations and when you add this to that we also informed that we give parliament government notice-

Orpo continues; first thing in the fall, we will have a proper conversation about it and we will once more tell the parliament about government guidelines and measures to protect and build our equal and nondiscriminatory society, Finland. And after that we vote, I think this is the correct course of action and responsible thing to do.
#naziJokePrimeMinister

P: Well it’s been about three weeks now and it has been quite a spectacle (monkey business & circus are also valid translations) so far, what is happening on the path of the government now?

Orpo: What’s happening is that we will go throughout discussion about what and who is in the government and what kind of politics it does. We want to make it clear still, we have excellent government program that answers challenges of Finland and that same GP has clear entries about -

Orpo continues: what principles, for the principles of a free western democracy we have committed to. My part as a prime minister is to make sure those happen and that the government program is fixed. I really hope that we get through this fish cleaning and that the government and its ministers get to implement this great government program because Finland needs it.

(fucks sake.) #naziJokePrimeMinister

P: Now to the headlines, some of the opposition parties demand that the parliament returns from summer break to vote about the confidence in minister of finances, Riikka Purra. What is your opinion?

Orpo: It’s no necessary. The government is able to function, for example i have watched today as the foreign affairs minister has done a great job in NATO summit where Finland is for the first time. Riikka Purra the minister of finances is leaving to EcoFi (?) Europe commit next week -

P: mmhm.

Orpo continues: we’ve made the guidelines for the governments EU ministers and we have a good working order. We are pushing forward legislation projects that are completely in line with the government program. Everything works, but we must of course get through this swarming discussion so we can then concentrate on the real work.

#naziJokePrimeMinister

P: You are underlining the governments ability to work together and be able to function, but today in the press conference Purra said that “these things will not end”. So what does that mean, more scandals ahead?

Orpo: I believe she thinks that discussion around government politicians will continue in. But as I said, it’s good that these things are sorted through, backgrounds are sorted through, and if is necessary come to conclusions like the resignation of minister Junnila. but now-

P: So you see that these (resignations) things can be coming?

Orpo: No. I dont see that, I dont have any intel for that sorts of things but -

P: Have you prepared after all this?

Orpo: In politics, and in world in general, you learn that all the time it’s possible to be surprised, and oh boy have we had enough of those in these 3 weeks.

P: so should i interpret that you have prepared?

Orpo: You have to be. But i hope this is done now and we get to work.

then Orpo tells in a very long manner how we should appraise governments actions and work not anything else and that no one in there does anything discriminatory or anything that even hints of racism. so bla bla bla.

P: I must ask as the beginning has been so difficult, will the government stay intact?

Orpo: Yes it will. I think its good once we get through these discussions and get to appraise the ministers -

P: So a good airing out in process?

Orpo: Yes, after that i believe the table is cleared and we get to work. And as the GP is good, it’s according to what the finnish people voted for in the elections. Government parties won the elections and we want to get to work.

P: Yes yes you have said that many times here, but yesterday president Niinistö took a stance in the matter and said government should commit to zero tolerance for racism. Do you and if so, what does it mean to you?

Orpo: In the statement we published we used the same term as president. And what it means in action is that not one of the ministers or the government not in legislative work or acting as a minister can spread, get blamed for racism or discrimination of any kind. That is clear.

P: Not of any kind?

Orpo: Racism is not, you cant play with it, you cant joke about it or just be a little racist. This is clear as day to me.

P: Zero tolerance, if from any minister theres racist texts or other revealings, how will you act?

Orpo: Every party and minister in government has committed to not being accused of or doing it. On the contrary we strive to weed it out.
#naziJokePrimeMinister

P: but what if there’s more racist texts comes to light?

Orpo: it’ll be intervened.

P: How?

Orpo: I was talking about a different thing now, we have this going through the histories and this has come as example for a public apology and changing one minister. Then there’s another thing thats on my responsibility and on every minister too. How we act in this respected position in the government. In that the guidelines are clear, yesterday we went through them again.

P: But will there be an airing out conversation within the government and if, when?

Orpo: I think we have discussed within the government the whole time and but as clear is that the government is only three weeks old. So ofc we need a-lot of sittings, building theme spirit and going through the guidelines, getting to know them and acting by them.

(sounds more like a summer camp for troubled teens than a government.)

#naziJokeGoverment

P: Is the government in a crisis right now?

Orpo: It is not. Last time we went through everything was yesterday with party leaders. We have clear steppingstones how to go forward, clear framework, clear principles. we have strengthened them to one and another and i see how every minister acts right now for the best of this country. And i want to insure finnish people that we will do what ever it takes to ensure success in the government works -

Orpo again: bc that means we put to action our excellent government program and that is what Finland needs to be a well doing country also in the future.

P: The government you lead has had headlines in many big media houses around the world. Purras “turkish monkey” has been in the papers in Turkey and foreign affairs minister Elina Valtonen conveyed the government’s apology to them. How stunning (bad) have these headlines been to Finland? this is another public question.

Orpo: They’re not good that is very clear. Finnish image in the world is very strong, very strong. All ministers need to convey that trustworthy Finland is not changing.

blablabla democraty blablabla its good that foreign minister is so blablabla.

P: There’s cracks in many places now. How do you fix that?

Orpo: By working.

P: How in action? What does it mean.

Orpo: By practical work and actions but also by conveying this message strongly what i’ve been saying too. Finland hasn’t changed, government guidelines are in line with free western democratic principles. That is taken care of and conveyed. In concrete actions when government gets to work and people will see this. GP is good and theres none of those things feared now.

P: Well, Putin has stated that the attack in Ukraine was because of nazis in Ukraine. How well did this nazi conversation play into their hand?

Orpo: First of all nazism and its history is upsetting. Everything around nazism needs to be judged and it has no place in this country or world. As we have done, we must completely resign from it. This word made Junnila resign cause he understood the effects it had on Finland and its government.

P: But do you see a risk in that Kreml takes an advantage of this?

Orpo: They will take advantage of every weak spot in surrounding countries. They find the ways to harm us, we must be united and strong. (more of the same said in countless different ways bla bla)

P: Last question, has the balancing of economy driven past respecting human rights (orpo speaking over) and western values?

Orpo: Certainly not, certainly not. These two things aren’t in a conflict and dont shut each other out. We stick to our values and they’re in the same GP as our economic objectives, getting people jobs, taking care of elderly, getting people in for treatment when they need it, that effort is put into schools. Thats all in the same GP.

P: Thank you for coming.

Whole lot of manure. ught. yeah no im not watching any more of his interviews.

if you have read this whole thread you know that Orpo spoke pure bullshit the whole time.

what a fucking disgrace.

I just wonder how does the shutting down a antiracist program fit in between everything Orpo just said on TV about respecting human rights and weeding out racism and what BF nazies say behind his back.

this whole political circus is a fucking joke and im tired of it already. #naziJokeGovernment #naziJokePrimeMinister

Leader of Left Alliance parliament group Jussi Saramo (amoung others) is calling for a pause in the summer recess so that governments trustworthiness can be put to a vote.

the way to do so is that parliament speaker summons the parliament.

you might remember that speaker in question is one well known BF fascist, Jussi Halla-Aho, so I doubt he will be doing anything that could harm his party. Even tho that’s exactly what is expected of him now as speaker of parliament.
#naziJokeGovernment

btw did you know why Jussi Halla-Aho is not one of the ministers?

because he doesn’t qualify.

why you ask?

he has a criminal record from agitating against group of people. basically spreading lies and encouraging violence against many marginalised groups.

He will not, in any way give his “opponents” anything that they can use against BF. So i doubt very much that anything will happen before the end of summer recess. #naziJokeGovernment #naziJokePrimeMinister
#HateSpeakerOfParliament

As seen above prime minister Orpo doesn’t see any reason for this either. He feels everything is fine as long as everyone would stop bothering the government so they could defund the well-fare state in peace.

who knew that when lifted into powerful and respectful positions, fascists would misuse that power? who knew? who?

(everyone who understands history.)

Finnish citizens have made a petition for Riikka Purras immediate resignation. It has gathered over 60 000 signatures.

BF baboons have also written their own petition, check that below. #naziJokeMinister #riikkaPurra

Maker of the resignation petition is already being targeted in the local 4chan.

I need to add this to the #OlenAntirasisti campaing business.

In 2021 Leena Meri, current minister of justice, has complained about a “bizarre antiracism campaign” that the ministry of justice had.

Now that she is the minister of justice, she has terminated the campaign last week without the knowledge of Non-Discrimination Ombudsman who is one of the facet working in that campaign.

The announcements made by prime minister Petteri Orpo echo in the background. #naziJokeGovernment

“I want to discuss with my whole group, and then we’ll see what they think” says Minister of education Anna-Maja Henriksson, also leader of Swedish People Party (SPP).

We’ll see if you finally find you backbone or if its just more tape and glue you’re offering. #naziJokeGoverment

In the meantime, Minister of Finances Riikka Purra continues her racist shit on twitter.

she is trying to sound feminist here for some reason but make no mistake, the women she is talking about in there.. she called them “unrecognisable black sacks” who basically destroy her precious country by just existing there.

tw: for racism in the second picture.

another #antiNaziGovernment protest held today in Joensuu, Finland.

it had well over 50 participants which is not bad for a small, former nazi skinhead town and with zero advertising budget. More to come i promise you that.

lot of good speeches held there and i am sure some are already circling in social media.

also we voted for the confidence in minister Purra. only 2 voted yes and the rest voted no so, fuck you Purra. 🖕
#naziJokeGovernment #fuckNazies #naziJokePrimeMinister

idk how many people there actually where i’m neither a police officer or a mathematician.

To other news!

Petteri Orpo is in Germany! He has lied in a diplomatic conversation that there is no far right parties in the government and other such nonsense like a proper nazi puppet. I am sure German journalist are having a good news day. #naziJokePrimeMinister

OKAY SO, Purra was elected to parliament with 42 594 votes.

the petition demanding her immediate resignation has gathered 90 645, no wait 90 768, no wait 90 775, no wait it just keeps rising. Well i will inform you once it hits 100 000 signatures.

SO ANYWAY, it’s already more than double.

if you live in Finland or just to check how many signatures there are when you come cross this, the link: https://www.adressit.com/stats.php?id=407041

now its 90 966.
