The plan for this weekend, setting up my new triple-monitor stand and KVM switch.
Yes, I am aware of how insane the iMac placement is. This is temporary. It will be replaced with a M2 Mac Studio by the end of the year.

I’ve been working with a single monitor for work for three years now and it’s time for an upgrade.
I got a very good deal on the KVM switch I’d picked out (it’s the least terrible in a consumer price range, and opted to pull the trigger on the rest of the kit during Prime Day. The savings on the monitors weren’t vastly better than the normal sale price, but the cables and USB-C dock were considerably cheaper.
Preparing the way.
I’ve unplugged everything and moved the desk away from the wall. I’ve labeled all the cables for my KVM and began setting up the monitor mount. A buddy is coming tomorrow to help with the rest.
This is all I have planned for the weekend.
No photos yet to share, but the setup is basically complete.
I ran into two major issues that I may end up having to live with. The first is a misalignment of one monitor to the tune of 1cm. The other is a incompatibility issue between the USB-C dock I purchased and the Elgato HD60X.
I’ll be reaching out to ECHOGEAR support about the mount on Monday. I have a work around for the capture issue that is a partial fall-back to how I had it before.
It’s fine. Everything is fine.
@spamfaux I guess it’s helpful as a test case if it’s on a particular circuit or something, but as a consumer, I do not need that as the default.
This is much smaller than I expected. I’m very pleased with the form factor. If I remove the foot pads, I can slide it perfectly into the top slot of my desk shelf.
