@LCWebsXOXO This is not hypothetical. It is VERY much already in the organizing stages.

IATSE has worked with the largest names in entertainment for 125 years, and now, it's VFX workers' turn to win the representation we deserve.

@LCWebsXOXO @amaditalks well ok then!
If a business claims “we’re only viable if we’re stealing” then it wasn’t a business in the 1st place
@LCWebsXOXO a massive cultural win to kill that off!
@LCWebsXOXO i hope they strike, and next, manga animators striking
@JessTheUnstill @LCWebsXOXO Boy, soon running a business is gonna be impossible.
@gocu54 @JessTheUnstill Only if you abuse and underpay your workers
@LCWebsXOXO I recently followed this theme and found out once again that man is man's greatest enemy.
@LCWebsXOXO
There's literally no reason why they should not unionize. There is no downside to organizing.
@LCWebsXOXO Honestly I'm just in favor of killing the MCU even without a strike. I do not need movies that require me to go watch three or four other, additional movies in order to 'get ready' for it. I do not need movies that consider themselves to be in something called "Phase Six". I just want to watch a single movie and be on to the next thing.
@LCWebsXOXO
I disagree that it would kill off the MCU. Disney makes enough money to pay everyone what they are worth and still be profitable.
