Although even the minimum specs recommend an SSD, the game will still be playable without one, despite previous suggestions from Insomniac that the game wouldn’t be able to run on systems without one.

I hope if it is, it will be a “this is how you get extra visual fidelity and performance” and not “this is what you need to avoid horrible stutters and pop ins”
