So much information and so many feelings are carried around the web in the form of images.

Social media often hides how to add descriptions to images, if it's even possible. Less than 1 percent of images posted are described. That excludes those who rely on #AltText from so many experiences & so many benefits. We're building non-profit tools we believe can make the web more #Accessible. Follow for more information.

@en With all due respect, why dark grey text on a dark green background?
@ApisNecros Hrm, the text is white for me and the accessibility checker I used reported a very comfortable contrast level. I'm not sure what's up
@ApisNecros I see it, it's a result of using an off the shelf css package and then making changes. I'll explore how to fix it shortly

@ApisNecros It should be improved. The change to a dark green background happened yesterday, and I didn't realize that it altered the color scheme based on light/dark preference, so I was setting the light background to the dark green as well.

Recruiting help for this project was needed in a large part because the original author (who you're talking to) is very much not a frontend dev, she's just stumbling along. We're still organizing and dividing responsibilities.

How does it look now?

@en Looks much better!
@ApisNecros Awesome! Thanks so much for the heads up.
