I’ve been talking and writing about the role individuals are playing in the Ukrainian war efforts. Case in point this poster from the walkway to the #NATOSummit which mentions Lithuanians raising money for #Ukraine to buy #drones.
@rikefranke The Lithuanian #crowdfunding campaigns reflects some of the wit and creativity seen in other messaging here. Here is the "Let your money fight" imagery from the Blue/Yellow campaign: an all-blue army-figure in a crouch with a rolled-up 5 Euro note on their shoulder like a portable rocket launcher. (The Lithuanian text is closer to "Send your money to fight".) #BlueYellow#Lithuania
@rmartinnielsen@rikefranke The genius idea with these campaigns is: you can help the war effort even with small change, even if your civil life, status or location don’t allow you to become more involved - there’s strength in numbers and every little bit helps. I’m a big fan of this approach, very savvy.
