If you want a wooden wrist rest that isn’t too expensive you could always make one. I can’t imagine it would be too difficult because it’s essentially just a single piece of wood.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking of going that route too of picking up some wood sanding it, staining, coating it, and waxing it. Did the same for my desk, but feeling kind of lazy. Would be quicker though with it being small.
cedledI got mine from a local woodworker. Maybe try to check if there's one near you? The advantage is you can pick what type of hardwood you want for the wrist rest.
I may look at the cost and check out price of a small piece of cut wood to see if it’s worth going that route. I’d just probably go and do the sanding and other stuff myself though, since cost of labor usually gets to a point where I feel like doing it myself.

Yeah, when I was looking for a keyboard tray to keep my desk free of clutter I also had run into not being satisfied with the options out there with the length and width of them being short for the space I wanted for my keyboard and mouse pad. So ended up having to make my own. So do still have the material needed once I get a piece of wood cut.
I got mine from Aliexpress. Last time I checked they a lot of them for rather cheap (under 20$).
dontwakethetrees (she/her)If you just want a decent cheap one. I’ve had the linked one for close to 2 years as my daily home then work keyboard wrist rest. I have it paired to a GK64 and its 1:1 in width and looks just as good as when I bought it. There’s good wide rubber feet on it as well.
