With lithops once they split they go into a mode where they use up their old leaves to reestablish new ones, and if watered can root rot easier.

@Preston they should! The tops are translucent to a degree and they get light from the inside to the conical leaf. It's freaky

@VermyFox I got it recently too - when I went shopping for Lithops. Hopefully I can grow it well and it'll look like those nearly transparent ones that people flaunt.
