That said, I can definitely see a use for it - people I want to follow who would never use Mastodon (or even Twitter for that matter) find Threads both low-friction and wider reach.
People such as non techie friends, bands, small businesses like crafters and niche accounts like wonderful ‘Tree Lined Lanes’ that I used to follow on Twitter. A necessary, privacy flouting, evil.
