I see a lot of people defending Armored Core 6's hard lock by saying gens 4/5 had one too, and it got me curious.

Went back to check 4A and compared to what we've seen in 6's trailers, 4A's "hard lock" is much less mobile and sticky, plus it's disabled during manual camera movement.

Admittedly, it's also build dependent in this game, as longer ranges get much better use out of it. Worried this factor might be lost in AC6. Tried using the stick as little as possible in these clips
