I was a few years ago in Derry with my familiy and my friends.
We did excursions seeing beaches, castles, and nature. We all loved Ireland, and especially the north.
i love northern Ireland, the color of the sea, its smell, the silver reflection in the sea, the tranquility, etc.
We were also in Belfast, where we met some lovely people.
I was also moved by the harsh recent history of Derry and Belfast.

I think perhaps the best or most bizarre thing about this place is that you wouldn't even know it had a harsh recent history in most of NI if nobody told you about it. They just don't present themselves as obviously as one would expect.
