Alex Stevenson-Price@gruber @BasicAppleGuy If you wanna see your true first app downloads you have to look at your account history or you’re missing removed apps like Lightsaber, Tap Tap Revenge, and NetNewsWire.
Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > Purchase History, then change filters to July 2008, turn off “Paid”, and set Type to “Apps”.
Here’s mine, compared to what’s on the App Store.

Phil Hirst@gruber @BasicAppleGuy sadly didn’t get my first iPhone until September 2009, when the 3G became available in Australia not on a contract… still a fun exercise! I remember Sheep Launcher - so silly but so much fun. That you can still see the original listings of the long gone apps is amazing.

Carling Tap was one of those “virtual beer mug” apps, tilt the phone to “pour.” lol. App Store let me download it just now, but it won’t launch past the age verification screen 🙃
