So for these vacations I am going to be using a Linux distro on a virtual machine as if it was my main OS. I saw this hastag around somewhere that I don't remember rn soooo I'm proclaiming myself as the entrepenuer of it here! â€‹ Gonna start this #linuxchallenge by using MX Linux, the Debian estable based OS that I recently picked up and wanted to explore more.
I will be doing my day to day things, except gaming, in my distro of choosing and I'll tell u guys all about it!

Day #1 - Entry 1:
Today was a set up day. Got the VirtualBox ready, installed the MX Linux iso succesfully, no errors, no funky business and so far, it looks like a Windows OS but with that thing that I can't describe that makes it feel "Linux". Gotta figure out how to set up the Share folder function of VirtualBox so I can pass my passwords and everything here. Got Discord, set up the audio, internet is fine so.. We good for now! In fact, I wrote this entry from #MXLinux! Haaaai! 👋 🦈

Any fun things I can do with this OS? 👀
@shorkkeith i mean, the sky is the limit. you can choose which desktop enviorment you want to use and even which display protocol you want. also, is that KDE Plasma?
@shorkkeith why making a VM? couldn't you just dualboot?
@resu mainly cuz I already had VirtualBox installed AND cuz my pc's BIOS can't be at UEFI mode cuz I don't have a 2TB hard drive which is a requirement for UEFI to run â€‹
@shorkkeith what about disabling that mode? also i never heard of having to have access to a 2TB hard drive for UEFI
@resu for me, it has. I know this cuz, recently, Valorant updated the requirements for the game which gave players two options: Switch the BIOS mode to UEFI and enable TPM 2.0 or disabling VBS. Tried the first one and when I rebooted my pc, it gave me an error cuz it couldn't find a 2 TB drive to boot from.
@shorkkeith It reminds me of the HTC Sense builds of Android 5!
