I’m gonna say this here because it comes off like I’m defending Musk if I say it on Twitter & saying it on Threads is what they want.

STOP TRYING TO REHABILITATE MARK ZUCKERBERG INTO SOME KIND OF COOL FUN MAN OF THE PEOPLE.

Facebook joined up with Cambridge Analytica to play a huge part in spiking the 2016 election & turn all our parents’ brains to cracked bowls of screamgravy.

I fucking hate Musk but that shit is worse than anything he’s done.

Yet, anyway.

@catvalente Exactly! I cannot stand so many people saying they hope it ends twitter if they all join threads.
This isn't like an election where you have to vote for the lesser of two evils. You can just chose not to use either of them.

Also, are we really all in a rush to give our time, and attention to meta a year out from the 2024 elections? The election cycle of news is about to start and we already know how badly involved facebook was before. Threads is bound to be worse.

I'm just saying that just because Musk's Nazi petting zoo hasn't been through an election cycle yet doesn't mean it's not horrendously bad. 🙃
