Why would you assume that when they say 'groomer' or 'pedophile', they are speaking of gay people and not hurling words around to discredit anyone with opposing views? Democrats are too generous, kind, and willing to compromise, while Republicans are farsighted and ruthless, and their endgame is violence. In Germany, they are using the law to arrest and detain right-wing extremists...in the USA, when faced with wolves, you run up a tree, pine, beg, and plead.

It also works in reverse, too. Not only do fascists warp language to mask their vile intentions behind seemingly innocuous phrases, they also try to render valid criticisms of their ideology meaningless by diluting language.

"Fake news" was originally only applied to articles that were totally made up and presented as real news. But what do people think when someone says that now? Fascists have hammered that phrase so hard that it doesn't mean anything.

"The astrolabe of the Mysteries of God is love."

If a person does not seek to be love or teaches something other than love, they are not of God and have no Godly religion. Love is God's sole purpose for us, individually and in our groups, but God does not force us; NO, we must choose it ourselves, in the face of great selfishness and ignorance from others.

Sometimes the word "deplorables" resonates in my head when I think of people who vote Republican. But it mostly does when I think of MAGAts.

But that's a dehumanizing word too, Wendy!
