@geerlingguy @crankyoldbugger Now you have me mentally designing an IRC server that enforces a twitter-like experience. Every users has their own channel that is their home feed, private to them, a bot in that channel allows you to subscribe to other users. Your channel's topic is your bio, you can find users through /list, private messages are still DMs basically... This is a bad idea...
