@andykm whenever i see this, i always wonder about time zones. i suppose you could just tilt it N degrees away from the sun's azimuth to correct for the disparity between sun time and clock time.
@thor @andykm Looks like the red part can be rotated slightly to deal with position within the time zone.

@thor @andykm With sundials people usually don't care about standardized time zones and go with local astronomical time.

But if one does care about time zone time, yes, that would be done by moving the north a bit east or west to change the sun angle.

@clacke @thor Normally yes, but that doesn’t work for this sundial. For the digital readout to work it needs to be oriented north-south so the sun shines through the fins all the way across the sky.
