Extremely disappointed in NPR Weekend Edition Sunday reporting on new Threads app. It was a gushing advertisement for the latest corporate grab to control the Internet which totally ignored critical privacy issues. And on top of that, they didn’t even mention Mastodon which is now 13 million users strong!

They made large donations to Minnesota and Boston public radio and many public radio station broadcasts actually have a disclaimer calling out their donations.

Answer (1 of 9): I heard a “this program was made possible by” statement on an NPR station, and it credited the Koch brothers and some foundation of theirs. I was in Ohio at the time. What about that?
