A comment I left someone just made me think it'd be good to share here too since I've seen some of you 3D printing.

If you're looking for flexible organizational things you can 3D print to make your workshop / crafting space more usable, the gridfinity stuff could be useful!

Random side comment, I laughed at "I don't just have ADHD, I have AD UltraHD 4K 120FPS"
@OffFleekGeek well that shit is amazing! I also saw he recently launched a 2.0 version. Guess I’m about to start re-organizing all my drawers with a bunch of hexes. https://youtu.be/ofI2OCq_QqA #3dprinting
@OffFleekGeek ah damnit. I finished that video. Nevermind. Back to squares.
@mww012 Hehehe yeah "3 months ago" puts it right about.... 😂 The whole thing is pretty awesome. I haven't tried it yet cause I need to set my 3D printer up again but it's definitely on the list.
@OffFleekGeek I’ve finally gotten my Anycubic Vyper mostly dialed in. Not perfect but I’m learning enough to have decent prints.
@mww012 Nice! Yeah it takes a lot of playing and trying setting variations but that's part of what I found fun :D
@OffFleekGeek agreed. I’m finally getting a knack for it I think. I have some general settings that are close and then run a temp and retract tower for each new filament. That seems to get me close enough.
@OffFleekGeek the only thing I’m really stuck with is some ghosting that I can’t seem to get rid of.
@mww012 Ghosting can be tricky, it's usually some sort of vibration damping problem. Could be in the belt, or the surface the printer is sitting on or the feet of the printer.
@OffFleekGeek that’s what I was reading. I knew my original table wasn’t super solid so I tested on the countertop. I went through chassis adjustments, belt adjustments, etc. and it reduced a lot. Still a little bit present. Bought two concrete pavers and put beneath the printer on the original table. That gave me the same results as on the counter top so I at least know I’ve removed the vibration of the table. It’s something I can live with for now.
@mww012 One thing that might help along with the pavers is a pretty thin piece of dense packaging foam under the feet of the printer. Along with stiffness, you also want something that will absorb and dissipate the energy but without the springiness that something like rubber would have.This is a good video I've kept bookmarked for noise reduction but also touches on print quality effects: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y08v6PY_7ak
Seriously the BEST $2 3D printer upgrade!

@OffFleekGeek oh nice! I haven’t seen that idea. I can definitely give that a shot.
@OffFleekGeek I've been watching Zack's vids as an entry point for my pla printer. Highly recommend the channel.
@cheshire_ge I think I'd watch him even if I wasn't 3d printing cause he's just entertaining :D
