#SpiderSunday: a woodlouse hunter, _Dysdera crocata_. These isopod-eating specialists are not uncommon, but I've only ever seen a few in all my years of spidering. I found this one at night scrambling up that paved bank at the corner of King and Maynard in #parkdale, near the Karma Sonam Dargye Ling Buddhist temple.

We have the same species here in Tasmania, but the common name here is Slater Eating Spider because we call woodlice slaters. 😀
