@Adrenochrome My rescue kittens -- well, kittens when I got them; they're four years old now -- are the greatest cats ever, and I attribute that largely to the wonderful volunteer fosterers who brought them up. They were gently and lovingly handled and played with and generally socialized from the moment they were born. Breeders might sometimes provide that level of care, but not usually. Fosterers do it because they really love cats; breeders do it for the bucks. Another reason to go for the rescues.

People:
"What? Adoption fee? €200.-?Why?"
Also people:
"€800.- for a pure breed dog? That's ok."

I'm so tired of discussing.

#RescuedAnimals are so thankful, so incredibly thankful. I'm sure you know.

@Adrenochrome Absolutely! We already took 4 rescue cats in our family and 1 dog. Would do it again, so many animals left behind.
