ICYMI: Xcode 15b3 is out, and – hurray! – has removed the 10-view limit in SwiftUI. You can now add as many child views as you want without using Group 🎉
@twostraws That deserves a “Finally!”.
@jamesthomson Yes, albeit with an acknowledgement of the extraordinary amount of work it took to deliver – the variadic generics implementation is a real feat!
@twostraws Oh, of course, but my brain is too simple to understand the complexities involved :)
@jamesthomson @twostraws when I watched the session I saw the wall of limitations of my brain appearing on the horizon already 😅

@twostraws Wait, variadic generics are here?!

I’ve had to drop back in following Swift news quite a bit, but this is one of those things I’ve been looking forward to.

@twostraws Woah! Totally missed this. That's amazing!
@twostraws The wonders of modern technology!!
@twostraws but still no tip kit 🙁
@twostraws Haha and sure enough I just yesterday learned from HWS that the 10 view limit exists! Technology sure moves quickly 😅😉
@twostraws More than ten columns in a Table?
@twostraws Amazing news!!! Thank you for this!
@twostraws I believe they said in the platform state of the union this was possible thanks to Parameter packs 🙌
@twostraws thx for sharing! :)
@twostraws I wondered if that would happen after watching “What’s New in Swift” but only tested on beta 2. Great news.
@twostraws Imagining now all of the ugly code in SwiftUI that this would allow them to delete and how satisfying it would be to actually delete it.
