Good Morning #Canada
And Happy World Chocolate Day! Chocolate is important to Canada and our cocoa related industry totals $2.6B annually. Canadians eat an average of 6.4 kilos of chocolate a year, which, based on an average bar size, is at least 160 chocolate bars per year, per person. That puts us at 9th place on world chocolate consumption – a kilo more than the U.S. That consumption includes all baking and prepared foods.
