DOORBELLS!

Now that I have your attention, does anyone love their new, modern doorbell? One that perhaps integrates with a camera/smart system that doesn't have a monthly service fee?

@tvaziri If you're in the Ubiquiti ecosystem, you can give their Doorbell Pro a try. Everything is recorded locally on the unifi protect, or dream machine pro. No cloud storage.

@vfxsup @tvaziri wonder if the Omada ecosystem has something similar. Just starting to switch the home network to that. Not sure about having a video bell gizmo, so for the time being regular doorbell plus Nest cam

@malducin @tvaziri Omada has decent networking equipment, and I prefer their wireless access points to unifi's. But no video surveillance.
