@randahl one should assume that everyone has all data on mastedon. Nothing has changed with that. With meta integrating to activitypub, they’d be able to capitalize on that by showing ads to you.
@Fluzbug without knowing all details of Mastodon's architecture, I do think it is harder to introduce mass surveillance in a distributed system.
