Christina WarrenFor the people fleeing Evernote, I have learned (as I backup the useless notes I have in my account that is free and that has been dormant since 2016) that the backup options are not great. Also, if you're looking for legacy versions of the Evernote client, AKA, the GOOD ONE that has better export options, https://www.reddit.com/r/Evernote/comments/u2i8r2/psa_trove_of_download_links_to_legacy_versions_of/ has them. The last 7.x release still works on Ventura anyway. Way faster and lets you export all notebooks at once

mdalin@film_girl Thanks for the heads up. So glad I bounced to Joplin about a year ago. I used to love Evernote, but the enshittification hit them hard. Joplin has it's issues, but it's been a worthy replacement for me so far.

@film_girl I just tried resetting my password to log in (wanted to see what my oldest notebook was). Can’t seem to get TFA to work. Oh well. I think I used it last in 2013.

Michael Seager@wklj @film_girl I think newer versions of Evernote have heavy limits on bulk export options. Around 50 notes from memory.
@michaelseager @wklj no, it’s just slow b/c electron. But the old apps still work in Ventura anyway for exporting.
