It is one thing, to leave Meta, and join Mastodon. Welcome to your upgrade from product to user.
It is another thing entirely, to be on Mastodon, and join Meta just to check out “Threads“.
One is liberation, the other is adding fuel to the fire. And if you can’t tell the difference, just go ahead and fucking Unfollow me.
They can come to us, we don’t need to go to them.

I'm here by choice, and civility and discourse is a large chunk of that. I have zero understanding of anyone leaving current-day Fediverse for Meta-ville.
The curious tech folks, I get. But I have tools to satisfy that curiosity in a generic, relatively anonymous, and javascript-free way. Once I've done that, I have no use for them *at best*.
