BellerophonOn 5th July 2023, a family member of #CocoLee announced that the pop star had died. She made an attempt to self-harm on 2nd July and was rushed to the hospital. Further details have not been made public yet.
While people are grieving her untimely death, i feel there is a need to make #MentalWellbeing into a non taboo topic of discussion among the Asian community at large. For too long, people would say "oh, we need to respect the dead, don't bring up issues that would ruin their reputation" (1)
