A lot of people flew through Iceland to various EU destinations because it was so cheap at one point. Easier than visiting the folks. Going to the Maritimes has been out of my reach for a very long time already.

It's worth exploring options. #Rome2Rio is a good app/platform for looking at multiple transportation options. I finally visited my family and friends in the Eastern US when I flew from #ViệtNam to #YEG by way of Doha, Qatar, Philadelphia, and Denver, CO. It worked out to be a great trip, took about a week with the flights and layovers. 3 different airlines.
