Internet Archive now has a menstruation information and history library, since we now live in a world with Florida bill 1069, which bans the mention of periods before sixth grade in Florida public schools.

Library is universally available:

@textfiles I got my period in 5th grade. Wtf.
@ainebet @textfiles Same. Grateful to have had the class, since mom just handed me a book. “Let me know if you have any questions”. 😐
@Crochetcat @textfiles I honestly learned more from the Tampax first period kit than anything else. My mom did help with that. But most other things health related and certainly sex related were never talked about in my house.
@ainebet @textfiles I’d say we had the same parents, but I’m old enough that mom started me out with “the belt”. Not exactly made for comfort.
@Crochetcat @textfiles I'm an elder millennial, no belt, but we got spankings, which my adopted mom called "putches" which I guess was supposed to make them seem cuter?? Idk. 😒
@Crochetcat @textfiles oh we're talking about different belts. Yeah thank goddess I at least had thin maxi pads and tampons to work with. Whew.
