Oh wow so apparently Tweet threads are now limited to 25 messages per thread.

I assume this is to drive more signups to Twitter Blue, where the character limit has been increased per-tweet.

The way this guy is shaking down every possible revenue angle like he's broke and the rent is due at the end of the week is really stunning. For a guy that didn't care about the economics of buying #Twitter.

@rodhilton I’m not sure there are any user experience designers left at Twitter, but it would be hellish working there as a UXer since none of the design changes are made based upon user research, but upon helterskelter, harebrained money-grab opportunities.

@rodhilton If what UXers practice is called user-centered design, I guess Musk is practicing owner-centered design. Hyper-caffeinated, willynilly, move-fast-and-break-things, throw-spaghetti-at-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks design. Amazing that some folks still see it as 12-D chess or something.

@rodhilton Oh, he cared about the economics. That's why he worked so hard to get out of the contract he signed to close the deal. Unfortunately for him, he failed to get out of that contract. Why he signed it in the first place we'll never know. Ultimate hubris.

@PakG1 @rodhilton well he was sued to do so by the twitter founders because he publicly proclaimed that, possibly in a joke that exaggerated too much, to buy twitter. Which was well… bad.
